HGV Driver

HGV driver - Leeds At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for an HGV driver to work with a leading logistics company in Leeds. You will be responsible for completing multi-drop deliveries safely and on time, ensuring all vehicle checks and documentation are handled with precision while maintaining compliance with transport and health and safety regulations. Shift patterns:
* 5am - 5pm
* 6am - 6pm
* 7am - 7pm
* 8am - 8pm Pay rates:
* 17.40 GBP hourly Must-have requirements for HGV driver:
* Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category

C) licence, CPC, and Digi Tacho card.
* No more than 6 penalty points on your licence.
* Previous multi-drop experience.
* Eligibility for an airside pass, including a 5-year background check and DBS.
* Strong knowledge of driving laws, health and safety, and tachograph regulations. Role for HGV driver:
* Conduct thorough vehicle safety checks before and after shifts.
* Manage delivery paperwork and Proof of Delivery documentation.
* Follow planned routes while maintaining compliance with transport regulations.
* Operate the vehicle safely in time-critical environments.
