HGV Class 1 Driver

HGV Class 1 Day Driver Rate £15.61ph - £17.50ph | Curtain Sider work | PAYE

Drivers Plus are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 Day Drivers with experience in driving curtain sider vehicles. You will be working out of Leeds (LS15) with start times will be at 05:00 – 07:00. Shifts last 12 hours.

• The company operates between Monday – Friday.
• General Haulage work.
• Drops can be between 3 - 5 per shift.
• You’ll be driving a Curtain Sider Vehicle. No handball is required. You will be required to strap curtains and load.

• Competitive rate of £17.50ph
• Weekly pay.
• The option to be auto enrolled into our pension scheme after 12 weeks of work.
• Only PAYE applicants accepted. No LTD/ Umbrella.
• We are flexible regarding work. If you’re looking for ongoing, part-time or temp-to-perm, we will aim to find what you’re looking for!

We are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Day Driver who has experience driving Curtain Sider vehicles. Our client requires drivers with a minimum of 2 Years of experience who have actively used their license for the last 6 months. It’s essential you are a good communicator, reliable, and take pride in your work, prioritising timekeeping and health and safety. For this role it can be a physically demanding job.

• A valid CE License, CPC card and Driver card.
• No more than 6 points on your license.
• A reference from a previous employer to cover the last 2 years.
