HGV Class 2 Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-known and established distribution business based in Leeds. We are looking for HGV Class 2 (C) Drivers to join the team.

Leeds, LS10 1RT

Job Type: Ongoing Work

Pay Rate:

 * £14.43 per hour PAYE

Hours & Shift Patterns:

* Monday to Friday

* 11:00am start

* 8–10 hour shifts

* Ongoing, consistent work available

The Role:

* Completing multi-drop runs in an 18-tonne vehicle

* Average of 8- 10 collections/deliveries

* Ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time

* Carrying out all required vehicle checks before and after each shift

* Completing all necessary paperwork accurately

* Ensuring compliance with driver hours and Working Time Directive regulations

* Maintaining a professional approach at all times

Requirements:

* Valid HGV Class 2 (C) licence

* 2 years' experience required but client may consider less.

* Maximum 6 points for minor offences only

* Valid CPC and Digi Card

* Good understanding of driver hours and regulations

* Reliable, professional and flexible approach to work
