We’re recruiting a Level 3 qualified mechanic at Leeds Workshop on a Permanent contract, with the potential to earn up to £75k+ including overtime. Join the largest, and greenest, fleet operator in the UK and take on a new challenge in a commercial vehicle workshop environment.

Full time - Average of 39.5 hours per week over the 6 week shift pattern including a 30 minute unpaid meal break rotating shift pattern;

• Week 1 – 06:00 – 15:00 Wednesday to Sunday
• Week 2 – 06:00 – 15:00 Monday to Friday
• Week 3 – 13:00 – 22:00 Monday to Friday
• Week 4 – 06:00 – 15:00 Monday to Wednesday and 06:00 until 15:00 Saturday and Sunday
• Week 5 – 06:00 – 15:00 Monday to Thursday and 06:00 until 10:00 Friday
• Week 6 – 21:30 – 06:00 Monday to Thursday

Whilst there is some flexibility in relation to non-working days, these must be agreed with the workshop manager at the point of appointment and will be subject to operational requirements.

• Salary: £40,906 plus a night shift allowance of £135.32 per week when working the 21:30 - 06:00 shift and a shift allowance of £90.21 per week when working 13:00 - 22:00 shift.
• Additional weekend supplement on Saturday (£53.66 per shift) and Sunday (£107.33 per shift) is applicable.

• You’ll perform a full range of inspections, diagnostic, maintenance, and repair procedures on a range of HGV vehicles, trailers, and mechanical equipment.
• You’ll use your own personal toolkit to undertake routine maintenance and repair heavy goods vehicles.
• You’ll also have access to specialist tooling and shared equipment in our modern, fully equipped workshops.

• Qualified mechanic: you’re fully qualified to an advanced level (IMI Level 3 in Heavy vehicle maintenance or equivalent). You’ve got your own toolkit for standard repairs.
• Varied vehicle experience:
  Proven Vehicle Technician experience working on a wide range of vehicles, for example HGV.
• Valid UK driving licence:
  You hold a full manual UK driving licence, preferably an HGV licence with trailer experience.
• High working standards: you take pride in your work and do what is necessary to make sure the job is done effectively.
• Flexible to service demands: you’re able to work on a flexible shift rota. You’re always willing to support your team where necessary.
