As the Driver / Warehouse Operative you will:
- Work closely with the Branch Manager and Branch Team to provide a prompt, reliable service to customers, while consistently upholding Duftons' core value of exceptional customer care.
- Liaise with other Duftons branches to plan, organise, and deliver goods in the most efficient and timely way possible.
- Verify that all goods loaded and unloaded correspond accurately with the relevant documentation.
- Ensure stock is stored and handled correctly preventing damage and maintaining its quality and condition at all times. Promptly report any damaged, missing, or faulty goods to the Branch Manager.
- Operate the FLT in a safe and responsible manner to support stock handling and delivery operations.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and overall upkeep within the warehouse and company vehicles.
- Maintain accurate records by updating the stock management system and reporting any discrepancies to the Branch Manager.
- Assist with stock control activities, including supporting the annual stock take.
