Class 1 Driver Nights Job Description

Company description: XPO TRANSPORT SOLUTIONS IT EUROPE

Logistics done differently. We're looking for Class 1 HGV Drivers to join us at our British Gypsum site in Sherburn in Elmet, on a permanent contract.

Pay, benefits and more

You'll be working a Monday to Friday shift pattern, working nights. In return, we'll offer you a competitive hourly rate of £18.19, with the opportunity to work extra shifts on top. The role is PAYE.

What you'll do on a typical day

Trunk full loads between British Gypsum sites
Drive new equipment and pull new trailers
Work in an environment that is highly safety driven. Our sites are Silver Standard FORS compliant
No manual handling, all loads are loaded and tipped by British Gypsum

What you need to succeed at XPO

Full UK driving licence with C+E entitlement
No more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements
A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card
Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
