HGV Class 1 & Class 2 Drivers

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-known and established general haulage business based in Alfreton. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 (C+E) and Class 2 (CAT

C) Drivers to join the team.

• £15.40 per hour (PAYE)
• £17.26per hour (including rolled up holiday pay)

• £14.50 per hour (PAYE)
• £16.25 per hour (including rolled up holiday pay)

• £25 Night Out Allowance (applicable to all drivers completing nights out / tramping)

• Start times available from 03:00 onwards
• Day work available
• Optional nights out / tramping (completely flexible and driver choice)
• Full-time and part-time work available
• Work planned around driver availability and personal circumstances

• General haulage work across commercial and residential deliveries
• Operating curtainsider vehicles
• Vehicles are pre-loaded on arrival to site
• Assisting with offloading where required
• Minimal handball involved overall
• Occasional use of pallet truck and tail lift
• Nationwide deliveries and collections
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (CAT
  
  C) licence
• Minimum 1 year driving experience required
• Maximum 6 points for minor offences only
• Valid CPC and Digi Card
• Good understanding of driver hours and regulations
• Reliable, professional and flexible approach to work

• £0.50 per hour attendance bonus (paid when all shifts are completed with no at-fault accidents)
