Class 2 driver - pass

Position: Class 2 driver - New pass
We are recruiting for Permanent HGV Class 2 Drivers to work for our client in Bramley, Leeds.
New Pass Drivers can be accepted for this position.
Hourly rates:
You will earn an average rate of £22.23 per hour, based on a 10 hour shift
Hours of work:
Start times are AT YOUR PREFERENCE, either between 12:00 midday and 15:00 or between 20:00 and 23:59, and you will get a set route of deliveries that you cover every night (and you will start at a similar time every night)

You will work on average 4 of 7 days per week. You will work of a rolling 7 week rota, with 4 of the weeks being 5 on 3 off, followed by 3 weeks of 4 on 4 off. Overtime available in addition to your 4 days per week once settled in.
Shift Lengths:
Average 10 hours per shift, with paid breaks
Deliveries:
All deliveries will be within a 100 mile radius of the depot, you will have a set route that you cover every night which will consist of around 8 deliveries per shift. You will deliver cages of food produce to shops and service stations. You will be required to use a tail lift for deliveries and push the cages into the shops, meaning that all applicants must be physically fit.
Training:
You will be enrolled into approximately 2 weeks of fully-paid training prior to working independently. This will be a mixture of classroom-based, yard-based and on the road training, shadowing a driver to learn your route.
Holiday:
As standard, you will be entitled to 4 weeks’ holiday plus bank holidays, which is approximately 20% above statutory. You will also gain an additional week’s holiday after 5 years in service

This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced and new pass drivers, giving you an approximate salary of £43,000 for a 4-day working week (with overtime available if you want it).
Licence Requirements:
No minimum experience
No more than 6 points for minor offences
No DD, DR, IN endorsement codes
You must have a valid CPC and digital tachograph card
You must have a valid, in date, HGV Class 1 or 2 entitlement
