HGV Class 2 ADR Driver - South Kirkby

People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 ADR Drivers to join our client's growing transport operation based in South Kirkby and the surrounding areas.

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced ADR drivers who are looking for stability, excellent earning potential, and long-term career progression.

This role would particularly suit applicants with previous experience as a Class 2 Driver, LGV Driver, HGV Driver, Category C Driver, Multi-Drop Driver, ADR Driver, Tanker Driver, or Distribution Driver
.

Rates of Pay:

£17.00 per hour

Shift Pattern:

Monday to Friday
Start times between 5:00am and 7:00am

Day-to-Day Duties:

As an HGV Class 2 ADR Driver
, you will work:

Safely operating and driving Class 2 vehicles to and from delivery locations
Transporting packed goods ADR consignments and completing low-pressure discharge deliveries
Completing loading and unloading tasks with care and accuracy
Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects to management
Adhering to all traffic laws and road safety regulations
Maintaining accurate delivery records and paperwork
Communicating effectively with dispatch teams, customers, and site staff

Essential

Skills:

To be successful as an HGV Class 2 ADR Driver
, you will need:

A valid UK Category C Licence
A valid CPC Card
A valid Digital Tachograph Card
No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no IN, DR, DD, or CD codes)
A valid ADR Certificate
A reliable, professional, and punctual approach to work
Good communication and customer service skills
A good understanding of road safety and compliance requirements

Desirable

Experience:

Previous experience completing ADR deliveries
Previous Class 2 driving experience
Experience working within the transport and logistics sector
Good customer interaction and service skills

Training:

Full industry-related training provided
Ongoing support and development throughout your assignment
