£34k per annum, plus benefits

Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

Concept Recruitment are delighted to be working with our freight forwarding client to recruit a Senior Freight Forwarder/Operations Co-Ordinator on a permanent, full time basis.

Based in LS12, our client is a privately owned, well established business who support their customers throughout the UK.

Role Responsibilities:

* Undertaking all aspects relating to the day-to-day operations of the export and import department

* Calculating freight quotations and building up jobs including customs entries

* Liaising with suppliers and customers

* Completing the appropriate documentation for shipments, invoicing and any other duties commensurate with the position

* Building solid working relationships with all customers

* Undertaking senior responsibilities within the department and helping to mentor junior team members

Person Specification:

* Experience in freight forwarding is essential

* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

* The ability to work as part of a team whilst managing your own workload

* Competent IT skills
