Nights Warehouse Operative

At GXO Sherburn in Elmet we are recruiting for a full‑time, permanent, night shift Warehouse Operative to support our customer, Sainsbury’s. From receiving and storing products to picking, packing and dispatching orders you could be involved in all aspects of our warehouse operations.

This role is based in the ambient chamber, with the opportunity to work in the freezer chamber.

This is a full‑time permanent position where you will work five out of seven days, between the shifts of 22:00‑06:00.

• An hourly rate of £14.05
• Additional £2.65 for hours worked after 18:00

• Picking and packing orders from a wide range of products using a voice picking system
• Get involved in other warehouse‑related duties that may arise during your shift
• Comply with all health and safety regulations within the warehouse
• Operate MHE equipment where required – full training provided

• Willingness to work in a multi‑temperature environment
• Previous experience in a similar position would be advantageous
• Flexibility and a can‑do, right‑first‑time approach
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including lifting, pulling and pushing
