This role supports Cencora's wholesale distribution services in Europe, operating through our Alliance Healthcare business.
Job PurposeThe Warehouse Operative is responsible for carrying out tasks within the warehouse environment, including picking and packing orders via the automated system, handling medical bulk, fridge and secure-area orders, and performing transport duties as required. The role ensures efficient and accurate processing of customer orders at the agreed company rate.

Daily Responsibilities- Accurately assemble items from pick documentation and ensure quantity picked is correct.
- Use appropriate bin/packaging to avoid damage.
- Pick hospital orders.
- Assemble special check orders and hand them to the special checker.
- Pick medical bulk, fridge and secure area orders.
- Maintain awareness of Health & Safety procedures at all times.
- Keep the warehouse area clean, tidy and free of rubbish.
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment (highly desirable).
- High visual accuracy.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Basic written communication skills.
- Basic numeracy and literacy.
- Customer care attitude.
Manual handling tasks such as lifting and bending are “essential requirements” of this role. The organization can’t provide reasonable adjustments for candidates unable to carry out such duties.
