Warehouse Operative

This role supports Cencora's wholesale distribution services in Europe via our Alliance Healthcare business. The Warehouse Operative is responsible for carrying out any tasks required within the warehouse environment. This may include picking and packing orders in the automated system, medical bulk area, fridge area, secure areas, and, if required, transport operations. The operative ensures the overall processing of customer orders efficiently and at the agreed company rate.

• Accurately assemble items from pick documentation and ensure quantities are correct.
• Avoid damage, use appropriate bin/packaging.
• Pick hospital orders, assemble special check orders, and hand them to the special checker.
• Pick medical bulk, fridge, and secure area orders.
• Adhere to health & safety procedures at all times.
• Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse area, free of rubbish.

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is highly desirable.
• High visual accuracy.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Basic written communication skills.
• Basic numeracy and literacy.
• Customer care orientation.
• Manual handling experience; lifting and bending are essential.
