Our client offers a professional accounting service including company accounts, VAT returns, tax planning, payroll, bookkeeping, and business support. Their experienced team utilizes modern technology and cloud-based solutions to deliver efficient and tailored services. They aim to meet the unique needs of small businesses, startups, and growing enterprises with personalized service and strategic advice.

Due to natural growth they are now looking to expand their team!

Role Description

* Preparing company accounts

* VAT returns

* Management accounts

* Assisting clients with tax planning and compliance

* Providing bookkeeping and payroll support

* Working closely with clients to offer strategic business advice and support

* Ensuring compliance with Making Tax Digital requirements

* Utilizing cloud accounting tools like Xero, Quick Books, and Sage.

Key Skills

* Strong technical skills in company accounts preparation, VAT returns, and management accounts

* Proficiency in bookkeeping, payroll processing, and tax planning

* Experience with cloud accounting software, including Xero, Quick Books, and Sage

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients

* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

* Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment

* Relevant accounting qualifications such as AAT, ACCA, or equivalent (part-qualified or qualified)

* Experience in a similar accounting role, ideally within an accounting practice
