The Support Worker role

Our teams provide outstanding care and support, working with individuals to understand their needs and help them to achieve their goals and ambitions. The role of a support worker is extremely rewarding, but can also be challenging at times, so patience and compassion are key.

About the service

Fountain Street is a newly refurbished supported living service in the historical market town of leek in the Staffordshire moorlands, Fountain Street is close to the bustling high street of leek. Fountain street is made up of 19 self-contained flats and is staffed 24/7 hours a day. Transport links such as Leek bus station is only a short walk away, with regular buses accessing the city of stoke on Trent, Buxton, Congleton, and Macclesfield.

What we are looking for

Level 2 health & social care qualification or willing to work towards this.

People that are enthusiastic about making a difference.

Self-motivated, empathetic, dynamic, and creative within the care sector.

Experience of mental health needs and challenging behaviours, this can be work related or from life experiences.
