We're looking for an accomplished Clinical Lead Nurse (RGN/RMN) with significant senior experience within a nursing home. You'll work closely with the management team, providing hands-on clinical leadership while ensuring consistently high standards are maintained across the service.
Your Clinical Background
Active
NMC registration as an RGN or RMN
.
A minimum of
3 years' experience in a similar senior nursing role within a nursing home
.
Strong experience caring for
older adults and people living with dementia
.
Excellent clinical skills and confidence managing complex nursing needs.
Strong knowledge of medication management, care planning and clinical risk assessments.
Good understanding of
CQC requirements, safeguarding and clinical governance
.
Experience completing clinical audits and monitoring quality.
Confidence recognising deterioration and making appropriate clinical decisions.
Proven ability to
lead, mentor and develop nursing and care colleagues
.
Strong communication, organisation and clinical decision-making skills.
A compassionate and person-centred approach to older adult care.

Where You'll Make an Impact
- Lead and maintain high standards of nursing and dementia care across the home.
- Provide clinical guidance and support to nurses and care colleagues.
- Oversee residents' clinical assessments, care plans and risk assessments.
- Monitor residents with complex needs and respond appropriately to changes in their health.
- Ensure medication is managed safely and in accordance with professional standards.
- Complete clinical audits and use findings to support continuous improvement.
- Monitor clinical documentation and ensure records remain accurate and up to date.
- Coach and mentor colleagues, helping strengthen clinical knowledge and confidence.
- Work closely with GPs, families and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
- Promote residents' dignity, independence, comfort and individual choices.
- Support safeguarding, infection prevention and clinical governance across the service.
- Work alongside the management team to maintain and build upon the home's
