Position Title

Office Manager
We are seeking an organized, proactive Office Manager to oversee day-to-day administrative and operational functions at a manufacturing facility in Maryland Heights, Missouri. This person will serve as a critical connection point between the shop floor, engineering team, customers, vendors, and company leadership while managing payroll, invoicing, bookkeeping support, inventory tracking, and general office operations.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, can confidently juggle competing priorities, and wants the opportunity to improve processes as the company grows.
Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 / Year, DOE
Responsibilities- Process and manage monthly payroll through Quick Books Online for hourly and salaried employees, including commission calculations
- Generate customer invoices and assist with month-end closing entries
- Coordinate accounts payable approvals and route invoices to the appropriate internal stakeholders
- Track materials and inventory while communicating with vendors and suppliers
- Serve as a point of contact for customers, answering questions and providing responsive support
- Manage incoming calls, deliveries, office supplies, and other day-to-day administrative needs
- Partner closely with the shop, engineering, and leadership teams to keep operations organized and running efficiently
- Identify opportunities to establish or improve processes and procedures as the company continues to grow
- 2–5 years of experience in office management, business operations, or a similar role
- Experience with in manufacturing, equipment fabrication, or logistics
- Working knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting processes
- Experience with inventory management and vendor or supplier coordination
- Proficiency with Quick Books Online
- Strong Excel skills, including formulas, Pivot Tables, and VLOOKUPs
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and/or Google Workspace
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and details simultaneously
- Confident communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers and a variety of personalities
