Position Title:

CAD Engineer – Print Detailing

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating accurate manufacturing drawings, print packages, and detailed engineering documentation using Solid Works. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical design, drafting standards, and manufacturing processes.

• Create and maintain detailed 2D manufacturing drawings and 3D models using Solid Works.
• Produce accurate print detailing, including dimensions, tolerances, BOMs (Bills of Materials), and assembly drawings.
• Review engineering designs and ensure drawings comply with company and industry standards.
• Work closely with engineers, production teams, and project managers to support manufacturing requirements.
• Revise and update drawings based on design changes and customer feedback.
• Manage drawing revisions and maintain document control procedures.
• Support prototype development and production activities as required.
• Diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Solid Works CAD modeling and print detailing.
• Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and engineering requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

• Two-year Accredited College or University in Mechanical, Electrical, Plastic or Manufacturing is preferred.
• Machine shop experience preferred.
• Plastics Tooling experience preferred
• Experience in sheet metal, machining, fabrication, or product design.
• Knowledge of ISO/ASME drawing standards.

Office / Warehouse environment. Employee may be occasionally exposed to moving equipment, mechanical parts in motion, hazards associated with a manufacturing environment such as overhead cranes, welding, machining, painting etc.
