Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology Technologist
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 0700 – 1530
On-call required: 12 days per month, including weekends and holidays
Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology Technologist to join a fast-paced cardiovascular and IR program. This role supports both diagnostic and interventional procedures, with a strong emphasis on patient safety, technical excellence, and teamwork.
Cath Lab Procedures Include:- Left and right heart catheterizations
- Pacemaker insertions
- Intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP)
- Impella device placement and support
- GI bleed embolizations
- Pulmonary embolism thrombectomies
- Kyphoplasties
- Drain placements
- Port placements
- Additional IR procedures as required
- Scrub, circulate, and monitor during Cath Lab and IR procedures
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields
- Operate imaging equipment and ancillary devices
- Assist physicians with device preparation, placement, and troubleshooting
- Respond to emergent cases while on call
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety and infection control standards
- Provide high-quality patient care before, during, and after procedures
Required:
1 year of experience in Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology.
