Operations Manager, Program / Project Manager
Location: Lee's Summit
Shearwater Systems LLC, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking a Senior Supervisor to join our team in Lee's Summit, MO.
Position Responsibilities:- Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills to coordinate project activities with contractor and government representatives.
- Ability to conduct fact-finding for special projects and respond promptly to government inquiries.
- Ability to present oral briefings to USCIS management officials.
- Excellent writing skills for SOPs and revisions.
- Proactive communication of significant issues to the government, with the ability to respond and take corrective actions.
- Identify and recommend new approaches to improve quality, reduce costs, and enhance process efficiency.
- Respond to NRC meeting requests within a 2-hour window.
- Develop complex statistical analyses, cost estimates, and reports.
- Assist with SOPs and revisions.
- Analyze training needs and requirements.
- At least 2 years of experience supervising or leading personnel on a program of similar size, scope, and complexity, including a large Service Contract Act (SCA) pool.
- Bachelor’s Degree in program management, business or public administration, production/operations/manufacturing/quality management, technical management, information systems, engineering, or finance/accounting.
- USCIS allows substitution of 3 years of management experience with responsibilities equivalent to this position.
- Must possess a Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification, certified by the American Society for Quality (ASQ).
- Must have a valid state driver’s license and pass a background check.
- Must pass a drug test.
