Overview
We're seeking a creative, outgoing Social Media & Content Creator who can turn the energy of K1 Speed into content that makes people want to visit. From close races and customer reactions to staff personalities and behind the scenes moments, you'll help show Kansas City what makes our locations a great place to race, celebrate, and spend time together.
This full time, hourly position combines content creation with everyday social media management. You'll develop ideas, film and edit videos, take photos, write captions, publish posts, and engage with our audience. You should be comfortable both behind the camera and in front of it, bringing personality to content and helping guests and employees feel comfortable participating.
You'll work directly with management to create content that supports local awareness, repeat visits, promotions, and group events. Management will oversee paid advertising strategy, budgets, and campaign management, while you create videos, photos, and graphics that support those efforts, including paid advertising on Facebook and Instagram. This is a hands on individual contributor position with no direct reports.
We welcome candidates who are early in their careers and can demonstrate creativity, initiative, and follow through. You don't need an extensive corporate marketing background, but you do need examples of your work and the ability to take an idea from concept to finished content. We're looking for someone who wants to build a lasting role with our team, with room to develop new skills and take on more responsibility over time.
