Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Tele RN with at least one year of recent Med-Surg/Tele experience and an active MO or compact RN license for a seasonal night shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Med-Surg/Telemetry (Med-Surg/Tele) hospital unit

• Serves adult medical-surgical and telemetry patient populations

• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

• 13-week contract assignment

• No local candidates accepted; must live at least 50 miles from the facility

• Provide nursing care, monitoring, and assessment to patients in a telemetry setting

• Must adhere to the policies and procedures of the assigned unit

• Holiday coverage may be required

• Travelers are supported by hospital clinical teams

Requirements

• Active MO or compact RN license required

• Minimum of 1 year recent Med-Surg/Telemetry RN experience required

• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification

• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required

• Candidates must submit professional references; two required for Missouri

• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months

• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
