As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. ** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.

+ Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and contacting appropriate personnel.

+ Assist with access control, visitor screening, and direction-giving in accordance with site-specific procedures.

+ Prepare clear reports and maintain accurate activity logs for incidents, patrols, and security-related observations.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

+ Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.

+ Must be able to work in and around a hospital morgue.

+ Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.

+ Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
