Tag and Title Clerk at Jenkins Hyundai of Leesburg

The Tag & Title Clerk is responsible for assisting with the accounting of business transactions on a day-to-day basis. The role verifies, allocates and posts transactions into proper journals, ensures transaction backup documents are maintained, and supports a system of accounting records, controls, and budgets designed to mitigate risk. The position develops and produces periodic financial reports in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in a similar responsibility.

• Follow a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
• Oversee vendor management and outsourcing
• Maintain an orderly accounting system and control over chart of accounts
• Make debt payments on a timely basis
• Recommend benchmarks to measure operations performance
• Process tag and title work in a timely manner
• Post all finalized tag bundles
• Reconcile tag/title schedule monthly
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety standards
• Perform other duties as assigned

• At least one year of experience in a similar role
