Overview
The Administrative Assistant supports the UF Health The Villages Foundation's administrative needs and is the initial contact for phone calls and visitors/team members entering the office. Supports the Executive Director with administrative duties to enhance efficiency and special projects. Assists the Foundation executive director and peers with any aspects that will enhance their efficiency. Responsible for general secretarial duties, as well as specialized projects.
Coordinates the flow of information in and out of the office.
Education:
High school diploma/GED required
Associate's degree preferred
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Proficient in the following Software:
Maestro, Raiser's Edge and QTEGO
Experience
Required:
Two to three years secretarial experience in a secretarial position or business related formal training
Extensive computer skills including:
Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HBOC, Internet. Minimum 60 WPM keyboarding
Must be able to maintain a professional and pleasant attitude at all times when dealing with board members, medical staff, and the public.
Ability to prioritize, handle multiple projects, and be an independent thinker. Detailed oriented.
Excellent organizational skills, customer service skills, verbal and written skills
Must be able to do light lifting
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
