Description
Job Purpose:
- The Chief Clinical Officer at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality behavioral health services. The role involves strategic leadership to enhance patient care, optimize clinical processes, and align with the center’s mission and goals.
Key Responsibilities: - Provide strategic direction and leadership to the clinical team to ensure the highest standards of patient care and service delivery.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate clinical programs and services to meet the needs of the community and align with organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with other executive leaders to integrate clinical strategies with overall organizational strategies.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and ethical practices in all clinical operations.
- Lead and mentor clinical staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, professional development, and teamwork.
- Oversee the development and implementation of clinical policies, procedures, and protocols to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.
- Monitor and evaluate clinical performance metrics and outcomes, implementing improvements as necessary.
- Serve as a liaison between clinical staff and other departments to promote effective communication and collaboration.
- Represent the organization in professional forums, building relationships with external stakeholders, including healthcare providers, regulatory bodies, and community organizations.
- Stay informed about industry trends, advancements in behavioral health, and changes in healthcare regulations to ensure the center remains at the forefront of clinical excellence.
- Qualifications
Required
Education: - Doctorate in Medicine (MD) or Doctorate in Nursing (DNP) with a focus on psychiatry or behavioral health.
- Board certification in psychiatry or a related field is preferred.
Required Experience: - Minimum of 10 years of clinical experience in a behavioral health setting.
- At least 5 years of leadership experience in a healthcare or behavioral health organization.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing clinical programs and policies.
- Experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and execution within a healthcare setting.

Skills and Abilities: - Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- In-depth knowledge of behavioral health regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Ability to analyze complex clinical data and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in developing and managing budgets and resources efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle crisis situations calmly and effectively.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and staying updated with the latest advancements in behavioral health.
