OverviewLeland Management is seeking an onsite Community Association Manager for one of our communities in the Leesburg
, FL area. The position is full-time (Monday thru Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm with occasional nights and weekends) with a competitive salary and excellent benefits.
- Experience with site inspections, covenant enforcement, assisting boards with day-to-day aspects of managing an association, preparing for and conducting association meetings, reviewing financial reports, preparing budgets, project management, preparing service bids and overseeing contractors.
- Knowledge of Florida Statutes and the ability to understand and execute the requirements of the governing documents of an association.
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Experience with Association Software such as Caliber is helpful.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of on-site or portfolio communities to ensure excellent service.
- Solicit bids, provide comparisons, and monitor all maintenance programs; build strong vendor relationships.
- Serve as the liaison for all resolutions of the property, using sound business judgment to resolve issues and conflicts.
- Handle confidential account information and communicate professionally both orally and in writing.
- Develop and monitor property budgets to support the financial expectations of the Board and Association.
- Coordinate, negotiate and issue vendor contracts in accordance with the management agreement.
- Prepare a monthly board package to the Board of Directors with a management report, proposals, correspondence and financial reporting.
- Daily use of company software (Caliber), Word and Excel for communication, organization and detailed follow-through.
- Must be a Florida Licensed Community Association Manager.
- Experience in an environment requiring high levels of customer service; motivated and confident professional; excellent written and verbal communication skills; detail oriented; proven leadership and problem solving skills.
- Competent in Excel, Word, Outlook and experience with financial reports and budgets.
- 2+ years’ work experience in Association Management with prior people and project management experience with condominiums, apartments, hotels, time-shares, developer, townhomes or homeowners associations.
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office; experience with Caliber is helpful.
