Registered Nurse | Cardiac Cath Lab | Day Shift | Full Time

UF Health Central Florida invites you to apply for the Registered Nurse position in our Cardiac Cath Lab as a full time day shift employee.

There are three Cath Labs at UF Health’s Leesburg Hospital and one Electrophysiology Lab. We are looking for someone passionate about elevating their clinical skill set and eager to collaborate in a close‑knit, state‑of‑the‑art environment with complex interventional and structural heart cases. Our providers are enthusiastic about the field and share their knowledge, fostering teamwork and continuous learning.

Under the direction of the director/charge nurse, the RN applies the nursing process in the Cardiac Cath Lab, performing patient assessments and diagnoses, formulating and implementing nursing care plans, and evaluating outcomes. The RN is responsible for maintaining the environment of care per Joint Commission standards and providing nursing care to pre‑ and post‑procedural patients. The RN is eligible for a sign‑on bonus.

This position's shift schedule will be:

• 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.: three 12‑hour shifts + on‑call (one night a week and one weekend a month, approximately every 3rd or 4th weekend, Friday night close of business to Monday 6 a.m.)
• Must report within 30 minutes.

• Associate’s Degree

• Florida Registered Nurse License
• BLS
• ACLS
