Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our adult care team in Leesburg, FL
. This is a full-time, on-site position providing direct care and supervision to adult participants throughout the day.

The CNA will assist participants with activities of daily living, mobility, meals, activities, medication assistance, and other care needs while helping maintain a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment. This position also requires accurate documentation, inventory management, and maintenance of required logs and records for regulatory compliance and inspections.

The ideal candidate is reliable, attentive, organized, comfortable working independently, and experienced in direct patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care, supervision, and assistance to adult day care participants
  • Assist with activities of daily living, personal hygiene, toileting, dressing, and mobility
  • Monitor participants and promptly report changes in condition or concerns to clinical leadership
  • Monitor and record vital signs as needed
  • Assist with medication dispensing/administration as permitted by certification, training, and facility protocol
  • Assist with meals, snacks, hydration, and monitoring food intake
  • Engage participants in activities, conversation, recreation, and other appropriate programming
  • Maintain medication, medical supply, and participant-care inventories
  • Complete required documentation, logs, and records accurately and consistently
  • Help maintain facility readiness for regulatory inspections and compliance requirements
  • Follow infection control, safety, HIPAA/privacy, emergency preparedness, and facility protocols
  • Assist with participant supervision, mobility, evacuation, and accountability during emergencies
  • Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming environment
Qualifications
  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of direct patient care experience required
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strongly Preferred:
    Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Current CPR/BLS and First Aid certification
  • Basic computer and documentation skills
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to follow established clinical, safety, and compliance procedures
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to safely assist participants with mobility, transfers, and other physical care needs
  • Ability to work independently and with limited supervision
  • Dependable, punctual, professional, compassionate, and respectful
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and logs
