The Technical Sales Representative IV is responsible for directly calling on and selling to builders and influencers, as well as creating strategies to support the sales goals for the start-up and growth of a new Envirocast wall system production facility in Leesburg, FL. The position will be tasked with meeting or exceeding sales goals contained in the annual operating plan for CXT Inc division of LB Foster, Leesburg, Florida in the targeted residential and light commercial segments.

This role is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with current and potential customers (builders), architect & engineering firms, and contractors. The primary focus will be to identify and close on opportunities to develop and increase Envirocast Florida sales revenue.

Some examples of the work you might do includes....

  • Sales and marketing of CXT Inc Envirocast wall systems within an approximately 150-mile radius of Leesburg, FL.
  • Develop and build strong relationships with builders, architect & engineering firms, and contractors in targeted residential and light commercial market segments within the region.
  • Leverage existing knowledge and relationships within the Florida residential and light commercial construction segments.
  • Foster and support cooperative sales efforts through designated manufacturer’s representatives.
  • Develop technical knowledge of the Envirocast wall system and its value proposition against competitive wall systems and communicate this in an effective manner to builders.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering to ensure design of the best and most cost-effective solution(s) for customers’ unique applications.
  • Drive the bidding process to customers either directly, through appointed manufacturer’s representatives, or through engineering firms and work with production, supply chain, engineering, and logistics/installation to ensure LB Foster presents the most competitive and comprehensive proposal possible.
  • Work directly with Engineering and the General Manager to identify technical requirements and regulatory obligations as applicable.
  • Formulate, develop, and coordinate the delivery of value-driven strategies for existing and potential new customers to achieve business objectives.
  • Provide month-end update reports to leadership.
  • Create strategies and develop KPIs using market information and customer feedback to advance corporate business objectives.
  • Active participation in local trade organizations such as Greater Orlando Builders’ Association, that align with corporate goals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer, lead, and prospect data within CRM system, ensuring effective tracking of sales activities and project progress.
  • All other duties as assigned.
What Do You Need
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, construction management, engineering or a related field desirable but will substitute combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • 3 years of experience in and general understanding of Florida residential construction and at least two years of sales to builders in residential construction
  • Exhibits excitement, high energy, and eagerness to sell.
  • Experience in selling a complex value proposition.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite Software (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint), SAP experience a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret residential construction plans.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with prospecting, lead generation, market research, and forecasting.
  • Demonstrate business acumen in general sales and marketing,
  • Ability to work with engineering firms to specify Envirocast products in relevant markets.
  • Be pro‑active, self‑motivated and self‑starter who is action oriented and results driven.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to travel within 150 miles radius of Leesburg, FL.
