Senior GL AccountantEnsure the integrity and accuracy of the general ledger, support timely month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close activities, and maintain compliance with US GAAP and internal controls.
What You’ll Do- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and reclassifications in compliance with company policies and GAAP.
- Perform general ledger account reconciliations and investigate variances or discrepancies.
- Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closing activities, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (FP&A, supply chain, manufacturing) to ensure correct accounting treatment for business activities.
- Monitor inventory and cost of goods sold (COGS) transactions; assist with inventory accounting and reconciliations.
- Assist in fixed asset tracking, depreciation schedules, and capital expenditure accounting.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, responding to inquiries, and ensuring documentation is complete.
- Maintain and document internal controls in accordance with SOX requirements or other regulatory frameworks.
- Identify and assist in implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (required).
- CPA or CPA candidate (preferred).
- Advanced knowledge of Excel; experience with Excel, Power BI, JDE, and SAP required.
- Training or familiarity with SOX/internal controls is a plus.
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing, medical device, or life sciences.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and general ledger accounting principles.
- Experience with inventory, fixed assets, and cost accounting.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Detail‑oriented with a commitment to accuracy and process improvement.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative accounting team.
- Ability to work on‑site in an office environment.

CompensationPay for this role is competitive and based on experience, with additional factors such as territory requirements, qualifications, and performance considered on a case‑by‑case basis.
