Overview
A healthcare company in Leesburg VA is hiring for a Senior Inventory Accountant. This is an ideal role for a CPA with COGS and inventory accounting experience to join a growing company. 3 days/week in office.
Duties- Maintain inventory ledger and subledgers, and perform reconciliations.
- Lead monthly inventory close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and COGS reporting.
- Manage inventory activity in companies facilities
- Assist in fixed asset tracking, depreciation schedules, and capital expenditure accounting
- Support physical inventories and cycle counts, ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards (SOX, FDA/ISO).
- Perform financial ratios on inventory and COGS
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and completeness
- BS Degree in Accounting
- 3+ years accounting experience
- CPA license or currently sitting for exams
- Experience in a role focused on inventory or cost accounting
- Locality to Leesburg VA
