Accounts Payable Analyst- Leesburg, VA

Our client, a dynamic organization in the finance sector, is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst to join their team. As an Accounts Payable Analyst, you will be part of the finance department supporting the accounts payable function. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Accounts Payable Analyst

Location: Leesburg, Virginia

Pay Range: $35/HR W2

• Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and payment requests in accordance with company policies.
• Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and execute weekly payment runs (checks, ACH, wire transfers).
• Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
• Reconcile AP ledger accounts and assist with month‑end close activities.

• Proven experience in accounts payable or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to analyze data and identify process improvements.
• Strong communication skills to respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues.
