- Follow Laws: Ensure every tax return follows current IRS rules and state tax laws.
- Protect Data: Keep all client financial data safe and private
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent.

Good communication, friendly attitude, and strong customer service. - Detail Oriented: High attention to detail to catch errors on forms.
- Experience: Prior tax experience is not required because Jackson Hewitt provides paid or free training.
- Certification: Must get or hold a PTIN (Preparer Tax Identification Number) from the IRS.
- Seasonal Work: Mostly active during the winter and spring tax season.
- Flexible
Hours:
Choose from days, nights, or weekend shifts. - Locations: Work in local offices.
