Front Desk Clerk III - Recreation Center

Overview

This is general office support and clerical work assisting in the organization and coordination of recreation programs and events. Work involves responsibility for the effective performance of a variety of customer service and program support tasks for the Parks and Recreation Department's Ida Lee Park Recreation Center. These flexible part-time positions provide information to patrons and the general public on programs, classes, fees, special events, and hours of operation;

answers inquiries; accepts registration for classes and special events; and assists customers in resolving complaints or concerns.

Position works various days and times.
This is not a seasonal position.

• Accept registrations for classes and special events.
• Assist customers in resolving complaints or concerns.
• Respond to inquiries and deliver courteous customer service at the Ida Lee Park Recreation Center.

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Prior cash handling and customer service experience.
• Ability to obtain Town-approved First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications within three months of employment.
• Have above-satisfactory completion as a Front Desk Attendant I with a minimum of 500 hours worked.
• Must be willing to work varied hours including opening shifts, holidays, and weekends.
• Must work department-wide special events (Flower and Garden Show, Independence Day Celebration and parade, Taste Leesburg, Airshow, Holiday in Leesburg).
