Inova Loudoun Hospital has a Full-Time opportunity available for a Registered Nurse to work in our Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program. Our ideal candidate has cardiovascular nursing experience (Cardiac, Cardiac Tele, Step Down or ICU), familiarity with ECG rhythm identification, and enjoys a multidisciplinary teaching and lifestyle coaching environment paired with clinical assessment skills. Fast‑paced department and a very active role.

Team members will be standing, moving and teaching for majority of day.

This unit is open Monday‑Friday with no night, or weekend requirements and schedule will vary: can work 8, 9, 10 and 11 hour shifts. This is a full‑time 30 hours per week position.

Clinic hours:

• Cardiac and Pulmonary is an outpatient lifestyle management program for individuals recovering from a recent cardiac event.
• All Inova Cardiac and Pulmonary programs are certified and align with AACVPR guidelines and practice initiatives.
• Candidates should be comfortable working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team of nurses, exercise physiologists, respiratory therapists, registered dietitians and behavioral health providers.

1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse.

BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an associate degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.

• BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification from American Heart Association required.
• VA RN license or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN.
• Proficient in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.

2 plus years nursing experience with Cardiac Patients including CV, CCU, Cardiac Tele, PCU.
