PRN Acute Therapist

Responsibilities

Our Clinical Department is currently welcoming a PRN Acute Therapist!

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide psychotherapy services for residents to include individual, family and group therapy scheduling and facilitation of treatment team reviews and documentation.
• Attend all treatment teams for assigned residents.
• Attend weekly clinical supervision. Coordinate multifamily/group/family education groups.
• Staff training, as needed.
• On call/weekend coverage, as needed.
• Other duties as assigned based on the needs of the facility.

• Minimum of a Master’s degree in a human services field (e.g., psychology, social work, counseling, education).
• Preferred:
  Licensed in the state of Virginia (LPC, LCSW, LMFT or a Licensed Psychologist). Or, must be resident in counseling. Preference given to candidates with CSOTP and/or CSAC.
• Experience with children and adolescents.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Subject to pre‑employment drug screen and criminal background investigation.
