ECHO is seeking a part-time - Tuesday, Thursday and Friday - Employment Support Specialist (ESS) to manage production within a host company or community job site while training, employing, and supervising adults with disabilities.
ECHO specializes in providing valued, meaningful community-based employment designed to maximize each individual's opportunities in accordance with their interests. The individuals work in small groups with on-site support at businesses in the local community.
ECHO's mission is to empower individuals with disabilities to achieve their optimal level of personal, social and economic success. ECHO is a nonprofit that offers lifelong support for adults with disabilities. We provide skill building, job placement, day support and transportation. Our services empower individuals to be active members of the community.
Job Duties
Provide supervision and care for ECHO participants including, but not limited to:
- Embrace and support ECHO's core values:
Enthusiasm, Trust, Integrity, Compassion, Respect, Innovation and Courage - Understand and implement person-centered individual
- Prepares and maintains clinical documentation
- Manage ECHO participant's integration into host company's workforce and their work hours
- Ensure health and safety of ECHO participants as dictated by their person-centered plans, individualized protocols and
- Crisis intervention as needed
- Perform additional related duties as assigned
Minimum Position Requirements
- Experience in vocational and/or day support training of persons with disabilities
- Must possess valid driver's license and driving record meeting insurance requirements
