The mission of the Sr. Placement Executive is to collaborate with Advisors, Directors, and team members to provide exceptional service, develop professional relationships with clients, insurance companies, and agency personnel, and maintain accounts.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deep knowledge of Property, Inland Marine, General Liability, Business Auto Liability, Workers’ Compensation, and Commercial Umbrella policies, including policy forms and terms.
  • Maintain relationships with key underwriters and evaluate insurance marketplace options.
  • Assess client needs, design insurance solutions, and negotiate with carriers for optimal coverage.
  • Market complex client business to various insurance carriers for new and renewal policies.
  • Identify suitable carriers, submit applications, negotiate rates and terms, and prepare proposals.
  • Stay updated on industry news, products, coverage, and technology.
  • Maintain professionalism in all interactions and attend relevant meetings and events.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office:
    Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Strong written communication, report writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or 15+ years of related experience.
  • Active state insurance license required.
  • Professional designations such as ARM, CPCU, CRM, or CIC are a plus.
