In this key leadership role, you’ll drive productivity, safety, quality, and continuous improvement across our advanced electronics manufacturing facility—empowering teams and elevating operational performance.

About the Role

We are seeking a driven, people‑focused General Manager to oversee day‑to‑day operations in a dynamic Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) environment. This is an exceptional opportunity for an operations professional ready to step into senior leadership. Candidates with Contract Manufacturing (CM) or OEM experience will be especially well‑positioned for success.

As General Manager, you will lead all manufacturing activities—ensuring productivity, quality, delivery performance, and operational excellence across the facility. You’ll guide a talented team, champion continuous improvement, and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our plant’s performance and culture.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide leadership for all plant operations, including SMT, THT, PCB assembly, box build, and test.
  • Ensure production goals are met with strong performance in quality, throughput, cost, and on‑time delivery.
  • Manage and optimize production schedules to meet customer commitments.
  • Monitor KPIs (OEE, yield, throughput, labor efficiency) and drive corrective actions when needed.
  • Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and customer requirements, reallocating resources in real time.
  • Build, coach, and develop a high‑performing team of supervisors, leads, and manufacturing staff.
  • Partner closely with engineering, materials, quality, and program management to ensure seamless operations.
  • Maintain compliance with ISO 9001, IPC standards, safety policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives to eliminate waste and elevate performance.
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions that enhance flow and operational efficiency.
  • Support budgeting, capacity planning, and long‑term operational forecasting.
  • Collaborate on quoting, NPI activities, and design‑for‑manufacturability improvements.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of manufacturing or operations leadership experience;
EMS, CM, or OEM background strongly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of SMT, THT, assembly, and test processes.
  • Proven success in fast‑paced, high‑mix/low‑volume or contract manufacturing environments.
  • Strong people leadership skills and a passion for developing teams.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and production planning tools.
