Production Manager, Fabrication

We are seeking a Fabrication Team Leader to join our team! You will oversee the activities of a team of production workers.
Responsibilities- Coordinate the daily activities of the production and operation teams
- Delegate production assignments to appropriate teams and personnel
- Place production orders from customers
- Inspect all materials and equipment to detect malfunctions
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- Lead, guide, and train subordinate employees.
- Monitor work habits of employees; motivate and supervise.
- Review the performance of other team members.
- Delegate work assignments when necessary.
- Problem solve and value engineer details with design and detailing department.
- Plan and adhere to the schedule and budgeted hours.
- Distribute Blueprints (AKA: Shop Drawings) to team members.
- Lead and manage installations at client’s location.
- Manage subcontractors at client’s location at Install.
- Knowledge of custom woodworking, mill working, cabinetmaking and finishing.
- Previous experience in production, manufacturing, or other related fields
- Knowledge of production tools and equipment
- Strong leadership qualities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must have sound mathematical and computer literate skills.
- Must be able to communicate ideas and instructions effectively to subordinates.
- Must lead by example
- Willingness to travel
- Positive attitude and degree to which he/she motivates and bolsters employee morale.
- Quality of work
