Fabrication Team Leader

We are seeking a Fabrication Team Leader to join our team! You will oversee the activities of a team of production workers.

• Coordinate the daily activities of the production and operation teams
• Delegate production assignments to appropriate teams and personnel
• Place production orders from customers
• Inspect all materials and equipment to detect malfunctions
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Lead, guide, and train subordinate employees.
• Monitor work habits of employees; motivate and supervise.
• Review the performance of other team members.
• Delegate work assignments when necessary.
• Problem solve and value engineer details with design and detailing department.
• Plan and adhere to the schedule and budgeted hours.
• Distribute Blueprints (AKA: Shop Drawings) to team members.
• Lead and manage installations at client’s location.
• Manage subcontractors at client’s location at Install.
• Knowledge of custom woodworking, mill working, cabinetmaking and finishing.

• Previous experience in production, manufacturing, or other related fields
• Knowledge of production tools and equipment
• Strong leadership qualities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must have sound mathematical and computer literate skills.
• Must be able to communicate ideas and instructions effectively to subordinates.
• Must lead by example
• Willingness to travel
