Registered Nurse (RN) Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab PRN

Inova Loudoun Hospital has a PRN (as needed) opportunity available for a Registered Nurse to work in our Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program. Candidates should have cardiovascular nursing experience (Cardiac, Cardiac Tele, Step Down or ICU), familiarity with ECG rhythm identification, and enjoy a multidisciplinary teaching and lifestyle coaching environment paired with clinical assessment skills. The department is fast‑paced and highly active;

team members will be standing, moving, and teaching for the majority of the day.

Schedule
Unit open Monday‑Friday with no night or weekend requirement. Shift lengths vary from 6–11 hours. Candidates must be available for a 90‑day orientation, 3–5 days per week.

Clinic Hours
Monday/Wednesday/Thursday: 6:45 a.m.–6 p.m.;
Tuesday: 7:45 a.m.–5 p.m.;
Friday: 7:45 a.m.–1 p.m.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• BSN from an accredited nursing school.
• If RN holds only an Associate Degree (ADN), must complete BSN within 5 years of starting date.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required from American Heart Association (AHA).
• ACLS strongly preferred.
• RN licensed or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

• At least 2 years of nursing experience with cardiac patients, including CV, CCU, Cardiac Tele, PCU.
