As a member of the Allied Universal team serving a government location, you will perform armed patrols and monitor assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents. In this dynamic environment, you will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This position requires an armed guard card or license. • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to control access and help deter unauthorized entry.
• Maintain detailed records of activities, incidents, and any irregularities observed during patrols and/or assigned duties.
• Support law enforcement or emergency personnel as needed during incidents at the location.
• Remain prepared to respond to any security-related threats or emergencies while carrying a firearm, in accordance with applicable laws and site policies.
• Interact with the public, employees, and visitors to provide assistance and information as required.

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
• Have at least 6 months of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
