Core Competencies/Responsibilities:

• Perform vehicle Pre-Trip Inspection
• Operate 45 ft Over the Road Motor Coach
• Complete Pre-Trip Inspection Report and deposit copy
• Report any corrections to Dispatch and or Maintenance Supervisor
• Operate his/her vehicle in a safe and courteous manner at all times
• Observe and obey all posted speed limits and traffic laws
• Maintain a current Commercial Driver’s License and DOT Card
• Report any changes in their driving record immediately upon change
• Document all times, passenger counts, incidents, or any other information requested
• Assist with ADA passengers to ensure safe transport
• Follow all safety requirements as instructed by safety manager
• Other duties as required

Knowledge and Experience:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Verifiable CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) with a Passenger Endorsement
• 3 years of driving experience required, 5 years preferred, which must be verifiable through DMV
• Strong knowledge of the service area (Multi County area including DC) is preferred
• Professionally groomed and uniformed at all times
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Must have a clean verifiable driving record (no more than 2 moving violations within the past 3 years)
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test and DOT physical
• Customer Service Experience is required
• High degree of comfort working with people with disabilities
• Possess excellent communication (written and verbal) and decision-making skills
• Must be able and willing to work Monday - Friday split shift schedule
• Must be flexible and willing to work Monday - Saturday

Drug and alcohol screening: Employment contingent upon passing pre-employment drug and alcohol screen. Also contingent upon receiving a favorable background check. If applying for a safety-sensitive position, it may require a physical examination.
