We are seeking a detail oriented and friendly individual to join our fun team as an accounts payable/receivable and accounting assistant. This position requires an individual who will be conducting daily accounts payable/receivable functions, as well as preparing invoices, receiving credit card payments and preparing client statements and financial reports. Other office duties will be needed to maintain regular office functions.
This person will be working in a shared office environment with others and needs to feel comfortable working in this type of setting. And must be comfortable working in a very fast-paced environment.
This position is part-time, between 20-30 hours a week, and the chosen individual can set a flexible schedule within the working hours of the greenhouse. We try to be as flexible as possible, and have fun perks that employees get to enjoy.
Responsibilities- All accounts payable and receivable functions and AP/AR reporting.
- Preparing daily client invoices.
- Entering item codes for new product introductions.
- Receiving client credit card payments.
- Preparing standard Quickbook weekly/monthly reports
- Assisting office support team with orders, scheduling
- Back up to relationship assistant on taking orders, preparing packing slips, and helping on-site customers
- 1 to 2 years accounts payable and receivable experience
- Knowledge of Quickbooks
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office:
Excel, Word, and Outlook - 1 to 2 years working in an office setting
- Friendly, and likes working with others
- Works well under pressure when large orders go out
- Trustworthy

Our greenhouse hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. We have great working hours!
