Electrical Senior Project Manager – Lehi, UT
Join AE2S (Advanced Engineering and Environmental Services, LLC) as an Electrical Senior Project Manager. AE2S seeks a forward‑thinking professional whose advanced expertise and business development skills will contribute to challenging projects across water treatment, wastewater, municipal systems, and industrial facilities.
Responsibilities- Provide proactive leadership and electrical engineering solutions, developing and implementing business development strategies aligned with strategic goals.
- Lead business development through positive client interactions and proactive engagement.
- Serve as advanced technical advisor on projects, guiding other electrical engineers and team members.
- Design and develop electrical systems and components, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct research and feasibility studies to evaluate new electrical technologies.
- Lead large‑scale, complex engineering design projects; prepare and oversee budgets, monitor hours/expenses, ensuring top performance.
- Provide quality control and assurance on designs and specifications to ensure timely project deliverables.
- Expand business by pursuing, developing, and implementing client‑success strategies aligned with AE2S initiatives.
- Collaborate across disciplines and external subconsultants to deliver quality work on schedule and within budget, meeting client expectations.
- Manage client relationships, proposal development, opportunity evaluation, and project leadership.
- Coordinate, facilitate, and attend internal and external meetings.
- Manage performance of assigned project team members.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of electrical system design experience in the water/wastewater industry or related area; design‑build, bid‑build, and CMAR experience preferred.
- Registration as a Professional Engineer in Utah or ability to obtain.
- Advanced knowledge of electrical engineering principles, compliance practices, regulations, and standards.
- Expertise providing guidance and strategic leadership to mid‑, senior‑, and project members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of electrical distribution, lighting, special systems, instrumentation, and SCADA.
- Ability to complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, motor vehicle records, etc.).
- Walk up to 3 miles on uneven terrain.
- Stand or sit for prolonged periods.
- Occasionally climb, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist.
- Occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull light to moderate weights.
- May lift up to 20 lbs, rarely up to 50 lbs.
- Inspect equipment or structures to identify errors or defects.
- May require PPE (flame‑resistant clothing, hard hat, footwear).
- May require evenings, weekends, and overtime as workload demands.
- May require travel to off‑site locations, including occasional overnight stays.
