We’re looking for a driven and experienced Water/Wastewater Senior Project Manager to lead high‑impact wastewater projects in Lehi, Utah.
Responsibilities- Serve as a technical guide, senior leader, and mentor for junior engineers within the Wastewater Practice.
- Perform a variety of team roles within project delivery (project management, QA/QC, and performing) as they relate to wastewater.
- Develop, monitor, and control scope, schedule, and budget for projects managed to provide extreme client service and build lasting relationships.
- Grow market and technical presence within the region by prioritizing client pursuits, building client relationships, and supporting competitive proposal endeavors.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
- Registration as a Professional Engineer or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- 15+ years of consulting experience in wastewater treatment.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel as required for project/client responsibilities and business development.
- Ability to work remotely and manage projects, clients, and team members.
- Prior project management experience.
- All applicants must complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, motor‑vehicle records search) in compliance with applicable laws.
- Master’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
- Proven client relationships.
- Knowledge of design standards and permitting.
- Knowledge of Colorado funding programs.
- Ability to walk up to 3 miles on uneven terrain.
- Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time.
- Occasionally climb, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist.
- Occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull light to moderate amounts of weight.
- May require lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds, with rare lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify errors or defects.
- May be required to wear PPE including flame‑resistant clothing, hard hat, protective footwear.
- May require occasional evenings and weekends with overtime expectations varying with workload.
- May be required to travel to off‑site locations including occasional overnight stays out of town.
