Play an integral role in building the future of financial services. We are looking for an experienced and talented Investment Director to join our core team.

• Passion for the cryptocurrency industry and innovations occurring inside the industry at large.
• Support the compliance, legal and operational responsibilities associated with the Alta Finance assets under management.
• Work collaboratively with the executive team in being a key resource for research, development of new investment strategies, and enhancement of current investments.
• Build upon and manage the existing infrastructure, framework, and process necessary to monitor our investments.
• Prepare and provide the Board of Directors and executive team an investment update on the assets within Alta Finance at each Board meeting including material market, economic, and industry related items.
• Support the compliance, legal and operational responsibilities of Alta Finance which include SEC Filing reviews, and provide ongoing investment related support to each of those areas.
• Serve as company wide contributor on initiatives relating to manager research/selection and development of investment decisions.
• Understanding of global securities and banking regulations as well as how to structure investment strategies within those frameworks.

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, economics, engineering or similar from an accredited four-year college; MBA or Masters would be preferred.
• Previous relevant experience with a top-tier regional or global investment bank.
• S7 registered.
• Expansive knowledge of available investment strategies as well as global, regional and local financial markets.
• Pulse on the global and regional financial investment trends and movements.
• Desire to apply the blockchain and cryptocurrency innovations to the investment market.
