Role

The Disbursements Manager leads our global disbursements organization. This critical and high‑visibility role requires cross‑functional collaboration and frequent interaction with global management. To succeed, the candidate must have intermediate Excel skills, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and a strong track record of adhering to SLAs and timelines. Experience leading change within a global organization and a history of process improvements that build risk‑mitigating processes are essential.

The role also supports projects related to mergers and acquisitions and other ad‑hoc projects. A strong accounting background, understanding of accruals and GAAP, and sense of accountability are required.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee global disbursement payment runs, including detailed review of payment proposals, auditing transactions, reviewing supporting documentation, and making ad‑hoc corrections to transactions as needed.
  • Partner with Accounts Payable, Payroll, Accounts Receivable, Tax, Treasury Operations, GL, and other internal teams to ensure adherence to corporate policy and compliance, building strong working relationships.
  • Work with bank representatives and Adobe IT to resolve banking or transmission issues, discrepancies, and deploy regulatory and/or compliance requirements.
  • Prepare and review journal entries for reversals, adjustments, payment resets, etc.
  • Work in an environment where compliance with processes, controls, procedures, and SLAs is essential; adhere to established deadlines.
  • Investigate discrepancies/reconciling items and follow‑up to conclusion.
  • Document existing processes and evaluate for gaps, redundancies, or inefficiencies.
  • Prepare complex GL reconciliation, month‑end close activities.
  • Prepare operational reports, track metrics, and share with different levels of management.
  • Assist with Mergers & Acquisitions as needed.
Required Experience & Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar or equivalent role.
  • Experience with recruiting and onboarding top talent.
  • Proficient with establishing team/individual goals and measuring success via KPIs/metrics.
  • Experience with complex cash, multi‑currency, global entities, and bank structures.
  • Recent experience (within the last 24 months) with SAP, Concur, and Ariba.
  • Intermediate+ Excel ability (v‑lookups, pivots, etc.).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related subject, strongly preferred.

Compensation

The U.S. pay range for this position is $80,200 – $171,400 annually. Pay within this range may vary by location and may also depend on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
