The Tax Strategist 1 is the analytical engine of a Tax Strategy pod. Working alongside two Tax Strategist 2s and a Tax Strategist 3, this role builds the tax models, prepares the analysis and keeps client plans moving, so the strategists who own the client relationship can spend their time on the calls that matter.

The Tax Strategist 1 is the analytical engine of a Tax Strategy pod. Working alongside two Tax Strategist 2s and a Tax Strategist 3, this role builds the tax models, prepares the analysis and keeps client plans moving, so the strategists who own the client relationship can spend their time on the calls that matter.

• Tax Modeling & Analysis
  • Build the tax projections and scenario models used in each client’s Review call, comparing current position with recommended strategies (entity structure, reasonable compensation, retirement, depreciation and similar).
• Plan Preparation
  • Gather and organize client documents and intake data, prepare draft tax plans and call materials, and flag gaps or questions for the owning strategist.
• Implementation Support
  • Track the action items from each client’s plan between calls and prepare the follow‑up materials for Q2, Q3 and Q4 check‑ins.
• Client Communication Support
  • Draft responses to routine client questions for strategist review, and join client calls as a second chair to take notes and build client‑facing skills.
• Tax Technology Collaboration
  • Work with the Tax Tech team to test, document and improve modeling tools and templates.
